Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food here was very good. I had the chicken satay combo and it comes with a good amount of food. It tasted very good and would come back here if I could

Homey hole in the wall. Generous portions, limited menu. Martabak was dry (regret not getting the roti instead). Laksa was rich and creamy with flat rice noodles (Iβm used to the round rice noodles for laksa). Chicken satay was the highlight - tender flavorful and perfectly charred. Shrimp glass noodle is good if you want a lighter flavour (mostly sesame oil).

My favorite restaurant in the city. I always get the roti and the Singaporean curry noodle with egg noodles instead of the normal ones. Comfort food.

My absolute go-to spot for authentic Southeast Asian comfort food. This is a true neighborhood hole-in-the-wall gemβit might be sparse (one cook, one server), but they make it work! Must-Haves: The Roti Pratha and the Singapore Noodles

One of my favorite places in the city. Everything but the roasted chicken/fried rice is outstanding (they donβt have a big menu). The roasted chicken and fried rice are average. Their price has increased by 20-30 percent compared to about two years ago. So sad that inflation got to this little neighborhood restaurant too. Highly recommend their spicy chili sauce, it makes everything better. For this particular location, thereβs probably not a good ventilation system so you might walk out smell like the smoke from cooking. Their other location on clement st has better air. Will still come back in the future.
